Balsamic Syrup

Use balsamic syrup in TV chef Nora Singley's Chicken Liver Mousse recipe.

  • Yield: Makes 2 tablespoons

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat; cook until reduced to 2 tablespoons, 10 to 15 minutes.
