Hi martha, I saw the episode on how to make madalines. I was so surprised on how easy it was to prepare as well as bake. Being an amature baker myself, catering only to a local deli, I definately want to try this recipe. These cookies are one of my favorites and I've only had the ones Starbucks make...never homemade. With most recipes I make, I love to add some sort of extract or liqiour. I'm thinking a simlple almond extract or to be a little more exotic, but subtle a drop of rose oil.
