Glittered Fruit Ornament How-To
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees. While oven is heating, slice fruit into 1/4-inch slices.
- Once oven is heated, place fruit slices directly onto oven rack and bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, turning slices once halfway through baking. (Tip: If slices begin to brown at all, they are done and should be removed from the oven immediately.)
- Carefully remove slices from oven and sprinkle both sides of each with glitter. They should be just tacky enough to hold the glitter. If slices are very dry, brush with a bit of mod podge or white glue and then glitter.
- Place slices on a drying rack and let dry completely.
- Once dried, attache a loop of ribbon to each slice using more glue or a small brad.
