Kale Chips

Get kids excited about healthy kale with this crispy recipe from stay-at-home dad Benjamin Frank.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bunches of kale, rinsed well, dried, and torn into 1- to 2-inch pieces
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons coarse salt

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Place kale pieces in a single even layer on baking sheets; drizzle with olive oil and season with salt.

  3. Step 3

    Transfer to oven and bake until crisp, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve.

    I love kale chips! I recently moved to a raw vegan diet (I know crazy) but it's working. Now my movie snack isn't a bag of potato chips - thankfully! With summer here... they have helped me get into shape.

    This recipe is great! Kale comes out nice and crispy with a pretty good taste. Love them!
