Tools and Materials

• Turkey or Pumpkin Pie clip art, or any simple, high-resolution image of your own
• Inkjet printer
• Inkjet transfer paper
• Napkins or place mats
• Iron
• Scissors

Thanksgiving Place Mat How-To

1. Download turkey and/or pumpkin pie clip art, or use an image of your own. Adjust size to your liking and flip image if desired (this is especially necessary if the image includes text).
2. Print image onto transfer paper according to manufacturer's directions.
3. Cut outline of image from transfer paper, trimming away background. Cut right up to edge of subject.
4. Lay transfer paper facedown and iron image onto fabric, following manufacturer's instructions.
