Strawberries and Sambuca Cream

  • 4 ounces mascarpone
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons sambuca
  • 1 pint strawberries


  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mascarpone, sour cream, honey, and sambuca until smooth and creamy. To serve, dip strawberries in sambuca cream.

    The ingredient list forgets to mention the sour cream. Sambuca is an anise flavor...that turns out very mild in this recipe. I did add more honey...and a touch more Sambuca. Cold mascarpone didn't blend very easily, by hand. All that said.....this is delicious!
