Danikac you totally misinterpreted what she was saying, by "save the forest" she was implying that you're not going to run out and chop down live trees for your home (because using a live tree for a day of enjoyment is really atrocious). Also you don't know personally if those artificial products featured on the show are made of recycled materials or not. Bottom line, it's everyone's individual responsibility to take care of the earth, not just Martha who really only represents her brand name.

I was shocked and appalled when I heard Martha that buying your artificial trees & wreaths protects the forest. Not only is this grossly inaccurate, it’s irresponsible. Artificial trees and wreaths IN NO WAY protect the forest. In fact, they are quite ecologically irresponsible and release chemicals with known health concerns. Martha needs to retract that statement on the air.

    Thanks!
