Green Beans with Dried Cranberries


Dried cherries can be used in place of the tart cranberries.

  • 1 1/2 pounds trimmed green beans
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • Coarse salt


  1. Steam green beans in 3/4 inch boiling water until tender, about 6 minutes. Drain; transfer to a serving dish. Drizzle with olive oil, and toss with cranberries. Season with salt.
