There's no need to put sand-castle toys on ice for the winter. They offer the same endless hours of entertainment for kids at the beach as they do after a blizzard. They can use molds to make turrets and towers, and create the main building with food-storage containers. Unlike at the beach, your kids won't have to worry that their kingdom will be destroyed by the incoming tide.
