Blood-Orange Elixir

  • Red sanding sugar
  • Black sanding sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blood-orange juice (from 7 to 8 blood oranges), chilled


  1. In a small shallow dish, mix together red and black sanding sugars. Moisten the rims of 4 highball glasses with water; dip in sugar mixture. Add orange juice to glasses and serve.
