Citrus-Cilantro Couscous


This side pairs well with Braised Chicken with Butternut Squash and Cranberries or sauteed shrimp.

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups couscous
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated orange zest
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Coarse salt


  1. In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat, stir in couscous and orange zest. Cover and let stand, 5 minutes. Fluff couscous with a fork, stir in cilantro, and season with salt.
