Do your little Picassos like to use the playroom walls as their canvas -- and permanent markers as their artist's palette?
There are some wall stains for which scrubbing simply will not do the trick. For those tough jobs, look to paint and primer to cover up unwanted works of wall art.
The Home Depot associate Russel Smith shares this easy masking process.
How to Mask Stubborn Wall Stains
- Apply rubbing alcohol to the affected area and allow it to dry for at least 30 seconds.
- Apply spot primer to marks on wall; wait 24 hours and apply a second coat, if needed.
- Sand the affected area with a fine-grit sanding sponge. Wipe off sanding dust with a clean, damp flour sack or towel.
- Paint over primed area; allow to dry.
