Prune Plums with Mint Ricotta

When buying Italian prune plums, look for unblemished, smooth dark-purple skin with a powdery coat. The fruit should be firm but yield to gentle pressure.

  • Fresh ricotta cheese
  • Sugar
  • Chopped fresh mint leaves
  • Sliced prune plums


  1. Sweeten fresh ricotta cheese with sugar, and stir in chopped fresh mint. Sprinkle with mint leaves. Serve as a dip for sliced prune plums.
