Alisha, a domestic shorthair from Brooklyn, New York. "Brand-new kitten has a day out in the garden!" writes lisacatv. "She was rescued from the city shelter just the day before and is the happiest, sweetest fluff ball ever!"
Mr. Yellowhair, an orange tabby from Window Rock, Arizona. "Yellyhair, as we like to call him, is a rescue," writes desiree1. "He loved to play with string 'til he fell asleep whenever Grandma was in a crocheting mood. Now that Grandma is gone, he has a shoelace that he likes to play and sleep with."
Taz -- short for Tasmanian Devil -- a domestic shorthair-Russian blue mix from Colton, South Dakota. "This is our baby boy Taz when he was 6 weeks old," writes snowyangel2000. "He voluntarily climbed into the pot himself. He's now 4 1/2 years old but still as curious as ever! He knows how to open up my cupboards, chew through the food bags, and spill open the cat food."
Weasley, a domestic shorthair from Divide, Colorado. "I fostered a mother and her three kittens for Teller County Animal Shelter," writes shandley. "This kitten was unusually trusting and relaxed. He loved to have his picture taken and seemed to know how to look right into the camera in all the shots. He was adopted into a wonderful family with three children, so he is continuing to get and give lots of love. I find fostering kittens to be a very rewarding activity, and it allows me to give kittens a great start with lots of life skills. I also offer Kitten Kindergarten classes so others can learn what kittens need so they can grow into healthy, well-socialized cats."
