  • yield: Makes 2 cups


  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter


  1. Step 1

    In small saucepan, combine quinoa, 1 1/2 cups water, and salt. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook over low heat until tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Drain excess water. Stir in butter, and serve.
