Materials

  • 9-inch by 9-inch squares of cellophane
  • Twist ties
  • 5 1/2-inch candy apple sticks
  • Styrofoam ball
  • Opaque container
  • Skewer
  • Artificial leaves

Steps

  1. Step 1

Place 1/3 cup of candy on a 9-inch by 9-inch square of cellophane.

  2. Step 2

Bring corners of cellophane together, twist and secure with a twist tie, forming a small bundle.

  3. Step 3

Place blunt end of a 5 1/2-inch candy apple stick against gathered, twisted end of bundle and wrap again with another 9-inch by 9-inch square of cellophane, securing bundle to stick with another twist tie.

  4. Step 4

To make arrangement, first place a Styrofoam ball into opaque container of choice.

  5. Step 5

Use a skewer to make holes in the ball and insert pointed ends of candy apple sticks into holes, starting along the edge of the container and working inward.

  6. Step 6

Finish the arrangement by filling in spaces with artificial leaves as desired.
