Basic Snap Peas


This recipe for basic snap peas is from Chef David Waltuck of Chanterelle restaurant.

  • 1 pound snap peas, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt


  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add snap peas and cook until tender but still vibrant green and crisp, 1 to 2 minutes. Drain and toss with butter; season with salt.
