Spicy Jerk Seasoning

  • Yield: Makes 1 cup

  • 2 bunches scallions, white and green parts, trimmed and finely chopped
  • 4 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse salt
  • 2 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 Scotch bonnet pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon thyme leaves


  1. In a medium bowl, add all ingredients, and mix to combine.

Cook's Notes

The seasoning can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
