  • 1 dash dry French vermouth
  • 3 ounces gin or vodka, chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • Green cocktail olive, lemon-peel twist, or tomolive, for garnish


  1. In a pint-size glass, stir the Vermouth, gin or vodka, and ice cubes 50 times. Strain mixture into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with olive, lemon twist, or a tomolive.
