Ingredients
- 1 cup packed spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1 rib celery
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 ripe pear
- 1/2 green apple
- 1/4 ripe papaya, seeds removed
- 1 piece (1 inch) ginger
Directions

Juice all ingredients in a juicer. Serve immediately.
Variations
Martha has also made this recipe omitting papaya.

We were in the studio audience that day and received one of the free Breville juicers, but they didn't give out the elite, they gave out the plus model which is not as good of a juicer. I gave away the free juicer and ordered the elite. Cant wait to get it.
1 last comment - for a treat juice apples and a whole lemon with rind and all and it taste like lemonade but without the sugar - its also great if you add some pear - kids love this combo

I juice everyday. It is the greatest way to start new day. My husband prefers carrot juice, but I can juice everything. Try apple, carrot and beet with a little bit of ginger and lemon.

I didn't write anything vulgar. The system saw the word "c-o-c-k-t-a-i-l" as a dirty word, apparently.
Can anyone remember the name of the juicer she used for this cocktail? I'm intrigued by how easy it looked to clean. I would love to see it in person.
