This was unbelievably easy. Served it with the passover flourless chocolate cake. Great pairing. Made it with Gala Apples which made it a little mellower.

I liked this easy method of baking apples.
I preferred to cut out the cores before laying
the apples cut side down in a cast iron pan
with little extras added: raisins, walnuts.

I make whole baked apples....just use the corer to make the [filtered word] all the way through...I fill the [filtered word] with nuts (walnuts or pecans) and raisins. I drizzle molasses over the apple instead of sugar.

I core them and then fill the core with little red heart cinnamon candies which melt and add a delicious treat-like taste!

I make baked apples but leave them whole- punch a [filtered word] all the way thru the center with a apple corer or small paring knife, taking out the seed
