Dale DeGroff's Simple Syrup

If a drink is too strong or too sour, pour a little of this syrup from master mixologist Dale DeGroff into it to temper the flavor.

  • Sugar
  • Water


  1. Combine equal parts sugar and water by volume. Transfer to a bottle. Seal with a cork; shake vigorously until all sugar has dissolved.

Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
