Egg-Filled Cloche

Celebrate the cylindrical shapes and subtle shades of eggs by displaying them in a cloche, an elegant glass dome originally invented for the garden.

Cloche available from English Creek Gardens. Blown eggs available from The Eggery Place. Alternately, blow out your own eggs with this how-to.

Materials

  • Cloche
  • Cake stand
  • Blown eggs

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Turn cloche upside down and fill with blown eggs.

  2. Step 2

    Jiggle filled cloche to settle eggs. Add more eggs if necessary.

  3. Step 3

    Place an upside-down cake stand on top of the upside-down cloche and flip both together, right side up.

  4. Step 4

    Display proudly on a shelf or table.
