Thai Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (Thai hot chili sauce) or 1 teaspoon red-pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a small bowl, stirring until sugar has dissolved.

    This is a fantastic sauce that has become a staple in our house. We use it with pot stickers, Marth's Thai meatballs from Costco...I even use it with stir fries. Be froewarned: it has a SERIOUS kick - but that's what we love about it! This is so much better and more complex than simple soy sauce.
