Ingredients

  • Pitted dates

  • Whole blanched almonds

  • Bacon strips, cut into thirds

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Heat broiler. Stuff pitted dates with whole blanched almonds. Cut bacon strips into thirds; wrap each bacon piece around a date. Place bacon-wrapped dates, seam side down, on a baking sheet. Broil until bacon is crisp, turning once, 6 to 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels; serve warm.

    Out standing and we have made these three times since aired on Feb. 03, 2012. Another great recipe I have from LSQ.

    I agree with the other posters on the recipe contents and how they differ from the show. But I DVR all LSQ recipes and after looking at the online recipe I re-watched the and and used the apricots and pistachios and I must say they are to die for. This is a *****recipe and would recommend giving them a try with the apricots and pistachios. Another great recipe from LSQ. Maxine

    I agree with the previous commenter. I don't understand why they can't post the recipes for what is on the show. I know I can make the changes but it's sloppy to insert different ingredients.

    What happened to the pistachios and apricots that they did on the show? Did they not work out? Tasted bad? Recipe wrong? I'm confused.
