Kefir with Berries

This recipe for kefir with berries was originally featured in the January 2008 issue of Martha Stewart Living.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups nonfat kefir, yogurt, or buttermilk
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups berries
  • 1 tablespoon honey or pure maple syrup (optional)

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Place all ingredients in the jar of a blender. Blend until smooth. Divide evenly between 2 glasses; serve immediately.

    We made this using blueberries and honey, and were quite surprised to find the nonfat Kefir at our regular grocery store. Very delicious and healthy to boot.
