Frozen Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups red grapes, seedless
  • 2 cups green grapes, seedless

Directions

  1. Peel bananas; cut crosswise into 1/2-inch-thick slices. Place banana slices and grapes on a small rimmed baking sheet in a single layer. Freeze until fruit is frozen throughout, at least 1 hour.
  2. Divide fruit among four bowls, and serve.

Cook's Note

Once frozen, fruit can be placed in a resealable plastic bag and kept frozen up to 2 months.

    It is the fact that they are whole AND frozen that is the concern for younger children.

    I have children 5,7,9 so I wouldn't even think about a choking hazard and I have been freezing my un cut grapes for years. Without a problem. I think you should know your own children and if you need to cut them smaller do so.

    I agree. both grapes and bananas should be cut in small pieces.

    Is this for children?.....by freezing whole grapes and banana pieces...this just seems like a choking hazard waiting to happen!
