Familiar dishes return, cleverly camouflaged as these croquettes, which are formed from turkey and mashed potatoes and served with cranberry sauce on the side.

Made this today-no cream so used milk. Patties loose. Refrigerated them for 1 hour. transferred to hot oil in pan and only turned one time. perfect. Golden and delicious!

Has anyone else had problems here? This recipe does not work, too much mashed potato and the cream is unnecessary. The mixture is way too wet and falls apart. Also it tastes very bland. I did suspect the method and should have trusted my instincts to try a different recipe. Sorry it's a no.

These were super yummy and really quite easy to make after Thanksgiving (think leftovers!). I followed the recipe to a T since it was my first time making them, and they turned out great. The "batter" is really sticky and falls apart before putting it into the bread crumbs. I sort of just plopped a blob into the bowl, then scooped bread crumbs all over it. Once it was covered, it was much easier to shape into a ball and flatten on the tray. These were a big hit!

I made these last year andthey were YUM!!! I left a comment but it wasn't here so I wanted to let folk know these were SUPER GOOD! I ate all of my left over (homemade) cranberry sauce eating these - it is now one of my holiday favorites for leftover turkey - it was just yummy - moist and full of flavor on the inside with a nice light crunchy crust on the outside. Again, it was just YUM!

I may have done something wrong because the patties were very moist and it took a lot of crumbs to make them into patties. They taste excellent though.

I just made these for lunch very easy, I only had dried herbs on hand but they were awesome. I'm going to try baking these next time.
