Horseradish Sauce

This recipe for horseradish sauce comes from chef Anne Willan.

  • 1 tablespoon (heaping) freshly grated horseradish or 3 tablespoons bottled
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks


  1. Stir horseradish, salt, pepper, and lemon juice into whipped cream.
