Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, lemon zest, tarragon, and salt; heat on stove or in microwave until butter melts.
Without cutting all the way through, slice baguette in 1-inch intervals; brush butter mixture between slices. Wrap in foil; bake until hot, about 15 minutes.
This was so good it was unbelievable! Something as simple as lemon zest puts this bread up a category from regular garlic bread. Oh, yeah, add some garlic! You'll be glad you did.
This was fantastic. My husband took the left over bread to work the next day with his soup and everyone in the lunch room wanted to know what smelled so good!
