Tipsy Affogato

The marriage of robust coffee and sweet ice cream will have your guests spooning up every last drop.

Tipsy Affogato

  • 1 pint vanilla-bean ice cream
  • 1/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1 ounce Frangelico or other hazelnut liqueur


  1. Divide ice cream among four tumblers. Pour coffee and Frangelico or other hazelnut liqueur over ice cream in each glass and serve.

Cook's Notes

Try chocolate ice cream with Benedectine or orange liqueur, or use masala chai tea instead of coffee. Serve with ladyfingers or butter cookies for dipping, and sprinkle with chopped dark chocolate or cocoa nuts.
