Lime Glaze

  • yield: Makes 1 1/3 cups

Ingredients

  • 3 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 8 tablespoons fresh lime juice, plus 2 1/2 teaspoons freshly grated lime zest (about 6 limes total)

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Sift confectioners' sugar into a medium bowl. Add lime juice; stir until smooth. Stir in lime zest. Use glaze immediately.

    This glaze is so yummy! Sweet and zesty! I just finished making it. My only suggestion would be to add more confections sugar or use less lime juice if you want the glaze to be a little thicker. I followed the directions and it was a lot thinner than I expected it to be and ran all over my cookies. Tasty none the less!
