Combine heavy cream and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Stir to combine, and bring just to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat, and add chocolate and peppermint extract.
Whisk until the chocolate is melted. If necessary, adjust consistency with additional corn syrup. Serve over ice cream. Garnish with chopped peppermint candy.
This hot fudge turned out beautifully. It couldn't have been easier to make and was excellent over vanilla ice-cream.
This really is perfect for the holidays! At Christmas time, we used both red and green peppermint candies.
This will be extreamly fun! I mean my family and I always have people over for the holidays. So this is a perfect treat, dessert, and a little warm in a cup when we go outside. Perfect! I will do this!
