    Great recipe! Made it tonight and paired it with some roasted eggplant and pilaf. I plan to use the basic marinade again only this time with chicken breast to pair with sesame noodle. Thanks!

    i could not find any sour cream at any of the super marckets. can't i make it at home? and if so how do i do it?

    I experimented with two salmon steak recipes : Soy glazed salmon steak and steaks with orange juice and hoisin sauce. Though both turned out tasty, I liked the soy sauce one much better. It gave a right and full flavor to the fish that lingered longer.

    This was simple and delicious! I also used salmon filets in place of salmon steaks and served this over brown rice with the sesame green beans from the same issue.

    Hey! I agree with Kim! I used more honey to my liking and made a little more to drizzle over the salmon when it finished! I also used fillets (because i couldnt find any steaks) and they were JUST as good! My stomach is FULLL...I served it over brown rice instead of regular or jasmine. Good meal for college students!We had bottles of soy and honey but you can use a simple packet of both from fast food.:-)

    My salmon steaks are thicker than the 6 ounces you suggest. Could I cut them thinner? There are also pin bones in it. Should I serve it with the bones in or remove them?

    This was an incredibly simple recipe, and a yummy one at that! This was just as quick to prepare as heating up leftovers would be, but certainly a lot better! I used more ginger, per my taste, which gave it a good kick. To Hotchan: There are websites available with nutrition facts for ingredients which do not come listed on their packaging. Try using low-sodium soy sauce, and I've even seen sugar-free honey in some stores. Also, try salmon fillets instead of steaks -- they are lower in fat.
