While the Spritz is arguably the most popular cocktail in northern Italy, its bitter undertones can be difficult to appreciate at first, especially in cultures not as accustomed to herbal flavors. This gently tropical version, on the other hand, smooths away the bitterness with a mellow, barely-sweet ripple of fruit providing a thoroughly enjoyable entry into the world of Italian apéritifs. Delicious!

(We'd recommend a splash of simple syrup as well: http://bit.ly/NYtxqQ)
