Herb Paste

  • Yield: Makes about 1 1/2 cups


  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mixed freshly chopped herbs, such as basil, oregano, parsley, rosemary, sage, and thyme


  1. In a medium bowl, combine herbs, olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir in lemon juice.
