Mint Julep

This recipe comes from Allen Katz, host of "The Cocktail Hour" on Martha Stewart Living Radio.

  • 4 ounces bourbon
  • 6 sprigs fresh mint
  • 2 sugar cubes


  1. In a mixing glass, muddle ingredients so that the sugar dissolves and is well-blended with the mint. Let sit for minute to release mint flavors.

  2. Shake over ice and strain into a glass filled with shaved ice.
