Heat broiler. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, ginger, turmeric, coriander, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Spray a broiler pan or rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Place salmon on pan. Spread yogurt mixture on top of fillets, dividing evenly. Broil until fish is just opaque throughout, 12 to 14 minutes. Serve immediately.
This was delicious. I made it with the Sauteed Spinach and Sweet Potatoes recipe from November 2003. It was a perfect pairing, and made for a fantastic dinner in 30 minutes. I just finished eating the leftovers for lunch. Hooray for Everyday Food!
Really yummy and easy. I amended the recipe, for two, and since I already had some coconut milk open, I used that in lieu of the yogurt. I also added a portion of garlic powder (equivalent to the ginger, tumeric, salt, and coriander). Just a heads up: it IS a spicy mix, but good, if you like the heat.
This was a good recipe....I enjoyed it....Thank you....
