Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, mustard, lemon juice, and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper.
Put salmon, skin side down, in a baking dish, and spoon mustard glaze over each piece of fish. Bake until salmon is just cooked through and no longer red, 6 to 8 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped dill, if desired, and serve.
Just made this for dinner and was delicious. Sides were sweet potatoe fries (frozen) and snap peas (microwave in bag). The prep for the whole dinner was <5 mins. My husband loved it as well. Will make again.
A great recipe for a quick week night dinner. We marinated the Salmon first, them grilled the fish fillets (no skin). It took about 6-8 minutes on the grill, depending the doneness you like. I left off the dill, I would also recommend cumin. It is a great rescipe for entertaining!
This recipe was very easy especially for a beginner like me (In n n n n n m learning how to cook). My family liked it. I read the comment by Krix2, and did it that way. My fish took about 20 minutes to fully cook. Also, I did not sprinkle the chopped fresh dill.
Delicious, easy to make, and so few ingredients. Instead of 4 6oz filets, I used about 8 4oz fillets with no skin. I sprayed cooking spray on the bottom of the baking dish, and I doubled the sauce and glazed both sides of the fish before baking. I also used a fish/chicken seasoning instead of regular salt n pepper, in addition to the dill, and it turned out great, so you have some leeway with the spices. My fish took about 15 minutes to fully cook, longer than the 6-8 minutes suggested.
