Avocado-Pineapple Salsa

Avocadoes add a smooth, buttery taste to this salsa.


  • 1 can sliced pineapple (8 ounces)
  • 2 thinly sliced scallions
  • 1 diced avocado
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper

Cook's Note

To peel an avocado half (without scoring it first), simply scoop out the flesh from the skin.


  1. Step 1

    Drain juice from sliced pineapple into a small bowl; finely chop pineapple, and add to bowl along with scallions and avocado. Season with salt and pepper; toss gently to combine.
