Infused Honey


This flavorful honey makes a delicious sweetener for tea, breads, or hot cereal.

  • Yield: Makes 1 cup

  • 1 cup honey
  • 4 star anise
  • 4 cinnamon sticks


  1. In a saucepan set over medium-low heat, warm the honey, star anise, and cinnamon sticks for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

Cook's Notes

This honey may be kept for up to ten days in an airtight container at room temperature.
