If any drink was made for leisurely back-porch sipping, it's iced tea. Our version is brewed from zesty hibiscus tea, which is made from coppery-red hibiscus leaves and is naturally caffeine free. Ginger syrup and fresh lemon juice add layers of flavor.

This is truly one of the most refreshing and delicious teas I've ever made. It is a huge hit with everyone who drinks it. The flavor of the hibiscus tea is wonderfully complemented by the savory sweetness of the ginger syrup. I use Tazo brand Passion tea which has hibiscus flowers in addition to other herbs and it is perfect for this recipe. Straight hibiscus tea also works wonderfully.
