Almond-Date Smoothie

The combination of almond butter and pitted dates creates a smoothie that is as rich and creamy as a milkshake. This breakfast drink is a good source of vitamin E and bone-building calcium.

  • 3 tablespoons almond butter
  • 4 pitted dates (preferably Medjool)
  • 1 cup low-fat plain yogurt
  • 1 cup apple cider or apple juice
  • 1 cup ice


  1. Step 1

    Blend almond butter, dates, yogurt, cider, and ice.
