Ingredients
-
2 containers (8 ounces each) store-bought plain hummus
-
1 cup roughly chopped mixed fresh herbs, such as parsley, chives, cilantro, and dill
Directions
-
In a food processor, combine hummus and herbs; process until herbs are finely chopped, about 1 minute.
Cook's Note
To store, refrigerate in an airtight container, up to 3 days.
I like the idea of adding fresh herbs to hummus, but if you're going to the trouble of dirtying the food processor, why not make your own? Just throw in a can of chick peas, garlic, tahini, and lemon -- fresher flavor, will maybe add 10 mins prep time, and probably cheaper, too.
