In hot weather, nothing quenches thirst like icy glasses of Lemon Ouzo-Ade, a cocktail based on the popular Greek anise spirit, ouzo.
- 3/4 cup Lemon Simple Syrup
- 3/4 cup ouzo, chilled
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (from 3 to 4 lemons)
- Ice, for serving
Peel zest off lemons before juicing them, and use the zest to make the lemon simple syrup.
Stir together all ingredients in a pitcher. Divide among 6 small ice-filled glasses.
