Lemon Ouzo-Ade

In hot weather, nothing quenches thirst like icy glasses of Lemon Ouzo-Ade, a cocktail based on the popular Greek anise spirit, ouzo.

  • 3/4 cup Lemon Simple Syrup
  • 3/4 cup ouzo, chilled
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (from 3 to 4 lemons)
  • Ice, for serving


  1. Stir together all ingredients in a pitcher. Divide among 6 small ice-filled glasses.

Cook's Notes

Peel zest off lemons before juicing them, and use the zest to make the lemon simple syrup.
