If this is your first time making a tart, I suggest looking up a "how to on pie dough" because this was my first time and my 11inch tart turned into a 6inch tart. It was very pretty when it was done. The great thing is once you have patee brisee down you can make anything.... Good Luck!
Cindi-- take your mouse pointer and place it on the blue words in the ingredient list, your pointer will turn to a hand and the words pate brisee will now be underlined. Just click on your mouse and the dough recipe will come up. It is a good one, so give it a try.
Pate Brisee is the dough recipe.
Your recipe for Strawberry "Bandanna" Tart has no mention of the ingredients for the dough?????????
Amazon.com has aspic cutters.
Goodness! This recipe says to discard the liquid formed from adding the sugar to the strawberries before making this tart. I would NEVER throw that out! Use it as an ice cream "sauce", on pancakes, or to add a strawberry flavor to lemonade. At our house, that stuff is like "liquid gold"! lol
Please can the editor use metric measurements as well as many viewers to the website are from countries that are metric.
