Simple Syrup

  • Yield: Makes 1 1/2 cups

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups water


  1. Bring sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan. Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Let cool.

Cook's Note

Simple syrup can be refrigerated for up to 1 week.
