Tomato and Basil Salad

  • 2 large ripe tomatoes, cored and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 12 basil leaves, well washed and dried
  • 2 tablespoons Greek olive oil
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper


  1. Arrange tomatoes and basil on a platter. Drizzle with oil, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
