White Chocolate Ghosts

52

This project is perfect for a child that loves to help you cook, and just the thing for a Halloween party snack.

  • Yield: Makes about 15

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Mini chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper; set aside.

  2. Melt white chocolate in a heat-proof bowl over simmering water; stir occasionally. Remove bowl; mix in oil. Drop 1 tablespoon of mixture onto prepared baking sheet. Use the back of a teaspoon to quickly spread into a ghost. Place a lollipop stick at the base, spinning to coat. Add chocolate chip eyes. Refrigerate ghosts 5 minutes, then peel off.

What a yummy recipe! I just love white chocolate and this recipe is the easiest one to do with it. And not to mention the taste. It was so delicious that I had to prepare an additional set right away. Thanks for this and keep posting more easy-to-do cooking recipes. go here

I loved this idea so much that I made snowmen for Christmas by using regular semi-sweet chocolate for the hat. I added orange food coloring to the white chocolate and molded a carrot nose and I used mini chcolate chips for buttons. So cute and the kids love them!

Cute idea! I melted peanut butter chips with red and yellow food coloring to make pumpkins. Then I mixed melted chocolate chips with black food coloring and made black cats! Yum!

The contributor's comments seem to regularly not come up on most pages. Is anyone else having this problem? I select a recipe and want to read others comments and suggestions, and nothing happens. There also does not seem to be a way to contact MSOM to let them know when there site is having problems....grrrrr
