Chocolate Ganache Glaze

This easy chocolate ganache tastes wonderful on our Glazed Chocolate Cake, featured in "Everyday Food: Fresh Flavor Fast."

  • yield: Makes 3/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Place chocolate in a medium bowl. In a saucepan, bring cream to a boil. Pour over chocolate; whisk until smooth. Let cool until thick yet pourable, 2 to 3 minutes.

    Love this recipe! Super easy and so good. It was very chocolaty without being too rich. My son said that this was his favorite chocolate cake ever. This will be a staple in my home.
